Weather Forecast for Saturday General May 20, 20230 The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active dusty winds are still forecasted to fall on some parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, Eastern, and Riyadh regions, reducing the horizontal sight. The report added that the sky will be partly cloudy, accompanied by thunderstorms, and active winds in some parts of Northern Borders and Qassim regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 15-40km/h, on the northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 10-35km/h, reaching 45km/h, towards Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southerly to southeasterly at speed of 15-40mk/h on the northern and central parts and southwesterly to westerly at a speed of 10-30 km/h on the southern part, reaching more than 45km/h, with thunderstorms.
