The Ukrainian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Anatolii Petrenko, was briefed on the investment and tourism opportunities in Asir Region. The Ambassador praised the development witnessed by the region in all fields.

This came during Petrenko’s visit today to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Abha, where he met with the First Vice Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Mahdi Al Hadban, in the presence of the Chamber’s Secretary-General, Dr. Riyadh Al Aqran, and a number of business people.

Participants of the meeting discussed the volume of trade exchange between the two countries and ways to organize meetings, events and visits in a manner that contributes to strengthening economic and trade relations. The discussions also included the tourism sector and the development potential of the region and the development it is witnessing in various fields.

Al Hadban spoke about the mechanisms that the Abha Chamber is working on to enable business people to access the latest information and data on the areas of investment in the two countries, which opens wider horizons for building cooperation relations and commercial partnerships during the coming period.
