Organised by the Dubai Maritime City Authority, DMCA, from 28th October to 1st November, 2018, the event is expected to attract international attention, as it serves as a strategic platform for international maritime industry leaders to explore the future of the maritime industry, based on solid foundations of innovation, knowledge and smart transformation.

Week-long maritime activities are aimed at promoting international best practices and exchanging knowledge and the latest maritime and technological innovations that can help contribute to the development of a competitive, inclusive and attractive maritime community positioning Dubai and the UAE across the world’s leading maritime capitals.

Regarding the planned event, Amer Ali, Executive Director of the DMCA, said, “The UAE Maritime Week will once again bring together international maritime industry leaders to explore the reality and future of the maritime sector, which is a vital contributor to the global economy. The Maritime Week will further bolster Dubai and the UAE’s move to consolidate its position as a major gateway to international trade, with the continued support of our leadership.
