UAE ambassador presents his credentials to South Korea's interim president

SEOUL, 28th December, 2016 (WAM) — Abdullah Al Nuaimi, UAE’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of South Korea, has presented his credentials to Hwang Kyo-ahn, South Korea’s interim president during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace in the capital Seoul.

Al Nuaimi conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the Korean interim president, and their wishes for further progress and prosperity to the people of South Korea.

The UAE envoy expressed the hope that his tenure in South Korea would advance and expand the joint strategic partnership.

For his part, Kyo-ahn, also Prime Minister of South Korea, reciprocated his greetings to the UAE leaders and expressed his best wishes for the people of the UAE. He also wished the new UAE ambassador success in his mission, emphasising his government readiness to offer every possible assistance to facilitate his assignment so as to serve aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of both countries.

The Korean leader also praised the progress made by the UAE under its prudent leadership.
