Successful conclusion of UAE's participation in 11th International Agriculture Show in Morocco

MEKNES, Morocco, 2nd May, 2016 (WAM) — The United Arab Emirates has concluded its participation as Guest of Honour at the 11th International Agriculture Show in Morocco, SIAM, which was being held in Meknes.

Ali Yousef Al Saad, Acting Director of Communication and Community Services at Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, said that the UAE Pavilion, which won the Best International Pavilion award at the event, attracted many visitors from among the 3000,000 attendees at the event, adding that the pavilion also received more than 70 directors and representatives of companies and institutions who showed a real desire to seek out investment opportunities in the UAE market in a number of agricultural fields.

Al Saad said that the success of the UAE’s participation in the event came with the result of the wise leadership’s keenness to raise the profile of the country high in all global forums and events. He pointed out that the UAE’s participation in the event was under the direct guidance of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, coordinated between the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and in collaboration with UAE national companies.
