The extremist settlers have stormed the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus.

Mayor of Sebastia Mohammad Azem told the Palestinian News Agency that dozens of settlers stormed the archaeological site, under strict protection from the Zionist enemy forces, who closed the area to citizens.

Azem pointed out that clashes broke out between the youths and the enemy forces, who fired sound and gas bombs at them, without any injuries being reported.

In the context, the Zionist enemy forces arrested Thursday a citizen from the village of al-Isawiya in occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources said that the enemy forces arrested the young man, Mohammad Obaid after they raided his house, searched it and tampered with its contents.
