Saif bin Zayed meets Chinese Deputy Minister of Public Security

ABU DHABI, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior met with Du Hang Wei, Deputy Minister of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, and his accompanying delegation.

Sheikh Saif discussed with the Chinese official ways to step up the existing relations between the two friendly nations in the security and police fields, as well as a number of issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Maj. Gen. Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Maj. Gen. Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, and a number of officers.

For the Chinese side, attendees include Pan Xi, Deputy Executive Director of the Public Security Department of Xinjiang, Zhang Yiming, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, Han Lin, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Public Security, and Gao Fei, Deputy Director of the Anti-Terrorism Department at the Ministry of Public Security, along with a number of officials in the Chinese Ministry of Public Security.
