Public Security Director Chairs Hajj Security Committee Meeting

The Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee Lieutenant-General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, chaired a meeting today in Jeddah. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Public Security and aimed to enhance coordination and integration between the security and military authorities responsible for providing services to pilgrims, as stated by Al-Bassami.

The key objective of the meeting was to foster continued cooperation among these authorities in ensuring the security and well-being of pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj season in 1444 AH, he added. Al-Bassami also conveyed greetings from the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, to the attendees.

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of plans implemented by various security sectors operating in Makkah, the holy sites, and Madinah. Additionally, participants discussed preventive and emergency measures to guarantee the security and peace of mind of the pilgrims as they engage in the Hajj rituals.
