Prince Moulay Rachid says UAE experiences cultural renaissance

Casablanca, 12th February, 2016 (WAM)–HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, brother of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, along with Afra Al Sabri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development of the UAE, opened on Thursday evening the UAE pavilion at the Casablanca International Exhibition for Publishing and Book, which runs until 21st February at the Exhibition Centre in Casablanca, Morocco.

The UAE is a guest of honour of the event.

Among others present were Mohamed Amine Sbihi, Moroccan Minister of Culture, Mohamed Abbou, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy, in charge of Foreign Trade, and number of officials and dignitaries.

HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, accompanied by Afra Al Sabri, toured the UAE pavilion, and expressed his admiration about different sections.

He welcomed the UAE, a guest of honour of this year’s exhibition, and stressed that the presence of the UAE would have a strong impact on the success of this edition, citing that the UAE is witnessing a cultural renaissance, which has a remarkable impact on the cultural life in the Arab world.
