Abu Dhabi, 16th January, 2016 (WAM): Clinical instructors from National Ambulance have delivered internationally accredited Heart Saver First Aid training to the European Union Delegation to the United Arab Emirates. The inaugural session took place at National Ambulance’s Head Office in Abu Dhabi with the Ambassador of the EU Delegation to the UAE, Patrizio Fondi, participating.

Ahmed Saleh Al Hajeri, Deputy CEO of National Ambulance, said: “It was great that an international delegation from European Union chose National Ambulance to deliver this vital first aid training for its staff. Patrizio Fondi Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to the United Arab Emirates, said: “The course was very practical, useful and effective as it provided us with basic elements on how to properly deal with certain emergency situations, therefore avoiding inconclusive panic which could result in deadly mistakes. When followed properly, the procedures taught, would enable people to save lives and prevent tragedies for many families. I think that attending such training would be our duty towards the communities we are part of. I strongly encourage other organisations to take such courses.
