Mohammed Bin Rashid reshuffles Meydan City Corporation’s board General July 25, 20120 DUBAI: The board of directors of Meydan City Corporation has been reshuffled by a new decree by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Decree No.10/2012 appointed Saeed Humaid Al Tayer as Chairman of the Board with Ahmad Al Shaikh as Vice Chairman of the Board. Malih Lahej Al Basti and two representatives of the Dubai Equestrian Club and the Dubai Racing Club, both to be named by the clubs, were appointed as members of the board. The term of the board is three years renewable, according to the decree. The decree is of immediate effective and will be published in the official gazette. Meydan City Corporation oversees the development of the United Arab Emirates’ new iconic horseracing development. It will feature a world-class grandstand, and will serve as a major business and conference district.
