Mohamed bin Zayed receives Chinese official

ABU DHABI, 1st February, 2016 (WAM) – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received today at Al Bahr Palace, Ning Jizhe, Deputy Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, and the accompanying delegation.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the visiting Chinese official and the accompanying delegation, and discussed with them ways to strengthen economic co-operation in the best interests of the two countries.

The two parties also tackled friendship and co-operation between the UAE and China, focussing on boosting co-operation in areas of economic and investment projects in a manner that reflects distinguished relations between the two countries and peoples.

They stressed the importance of further efforts to improve the economic relations and expand joint trade and investment partnership through diversification in the light of many potentials and opportunities enjoyed by countries.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Department of Transport, and Pilot, Major General Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National, Reserve Service Authority, and Omer Al Bitar, the UAE Ambassador to China.

From the Chinese side, Chang Hua, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, and a number of Chinese officials attended the meeting.
