FUJAIRAH, Hamdan Karam Al Kaabi, Director-General of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, FCMA, highlighted his desire to develop cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Jordan in the areas of culture, training, research, science and development, through supporting and organising joint cultural projects and programmes.
Al Kaabi stressed the necessity of strengthening their cooperation and overall cultural exchanges, while benefiting from and employing their expertise and capabilities, and coordinating their efforts.
He made his statement during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the FCMA and the ministry in Fujairah this morning.
Inked by Hamdan Karam Al Kaabi, Director-General of the FCMA , and Hazza’ Damen Al Barari, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Culture of Jordan, the MoU includes several clauses related to supporting cooperation in cultural training, through exchanging expertise with relevant organisations and individuals.
The MoU aims to promote joint cultural cooperation and has nine articles, which represent a framework for advancing cooperation and strengthening ties in literature, the arts, heritage, libraries and archives. It also aims to encourage visits between music and folklore experts and technicians, as well as participation in cultural, artistic and theatrical festivals, and visual and fine art exhibitions.
