MUSCAT, 27th October, 2016 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, today visited the National Museum of Oman in Muscat, as part of his visit to Sultanate to participate in the 18th meeting of the UAE-Oman Higher Joint Committee.
Jamal bin Hassan al-Moussawi, Acting Director General of the National Museum of Oman and a number of officials received Sheikh Mansour, who was then briefed by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al-Busaidi, Omani Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, about the area, halls and departments of the museum.
At the end of the visit, Sheikh Mansour wrote down the following words in the guestbook, “I am very happy about what I have seen during my visit to the National Museum of Oman. The museum is an important reference for the future generations as it speaks about the legacy left by former leaders of the country for the history of the Sultanate and the GCC region.”
