DUBAI, 29th October, 2016 (WAM) — Participants at the upcoming Dubai Maritime Week 2016 will discuss latest maritime developments, including solutions to industry challenges, and evaluate domestic and international maritime opportunities.
Those attending the conference will include a distinguished line-up of key local and global maritime industry leaders, decision- and policy-makers, senior government officials, and regional and international maritime pioneers. The conference begins in Dubai on Sunday, 30th October.
Participants will discuss best international practices and innovative solutions to improve competitiveness within the global maritime community.
The biennial maritime conference is hosted by the Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA), as part of the continuing efforts to reinforce Dubai’s global status as a leading maritime destination.
The third edition of Dubai Maritime Week will feature numerous events, such as the Dubai Maritime Summit, the UAE Maritime Leaders Seminar, Seatrade Maritime Middle East, the Global Shippers Forum, and the DMCA Partners Appreciation Gathering.
The programmes are designed to provide a practical platform to strengthen communication and international cooperation to build a clear roadmap, overcome obstacles, and optimise opportunities to guarantee a safe and sustainable international maritime community.
Dubai Maritime Week 2016 will run from October 30 to November 3, 2016, and attract more than 350 exhibitors from leading international maritime companies.
