Khalifa orders medical plane to airlift seven Emiratis injured in Oman

ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has given orders to send a well-equipped medical aircraft, with an officer from the Ministry of Interior and a medical team from the Health Authority on board, to airlift seven Emiratis injured in a traffic accident in the Sultanate of Oman, to complete treatment in the UAE.

The Ministry of Interior, in a press statement, said four of them sustained serious and moderate injuries in the accident which took place yesterday Saturday when two vehicles collided in Maqshan, Oman.

All the injured were rushed to the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah.
