Khalifa congratulates Mohammed bin Rashid for winning FEI World Endurance Championship

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan today congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for claiming the individual gold medal of the Longines FEI World Endurance Championship staged at Euston Park in Suffolk, UK.

A total of 152 riders from 38 countries from all over the world competed for the title.

Sheikh Khalifa said:” The victory represents an honourable, qualitative addition to the UAE proven record of sports achievements at international level.

The President lauded the glorious sports achievement as a ”proof” of merit of UAE riders, led by Sheikh Mohammed, to claim prestigious honours in world’s largest championships.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed expressed profound thanks and gratitude to Sheikh Khalifa, saying: The title is an achievement to the UAE under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa.
