The Japan Times, The Mainichi and Kyodo News are operating a joint English portal site from Sept. 5 to Sept. 9 to provide news reports, key quotes, official documents and other information for a series of APEC ministerial and leaders’ meetings in Vladivostok, Russia.

Media organizations can access the Japan Press Pool Service site to obtain the following in English:

* news reports on the meetings and other related events;

* top stories from Japan;

* key quotes from Japan’s foreign minister, prime minister and other officials;

* news photos;

* official documents released by the APEC secretariat and the Japanese government.
