ISLAMIC AFFAIRS CONCLUDE A TRAINING COURSE FOR 30 IMAM FROM THE REPUBLIC OF COTE DIVOIRE

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments concluded the training course for 30 Imams from the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, during which they learned about Awqaf’s experience in promoting religious discourse and its approach to cementing the values of tolerance, coexistence and peace, which are profoundly deepened by the Islamic religion and is considered an authentic approach of the UAE. At the end of the session, Dr Mohamed Matar al-Kaabi, Chairman of Awqaf, honoured the participants and gave them certificates of appreciation in the presence of Mohammed Saeed Al Neyadi, Director General of Awqaf and the executive directors. He praised the in-depth shared relations between the two countries’ leaderships and peoples. He also stressed Awqaf’s keenness to strengthen bonds of cooperation in religious affairs between the two countries and to establish bridges of communication and exchange of experiences, research and studies. For their part, the participating Imams praised the warm hospitality, expressing their admiration for Awqaf’s experience and strategy in communicating its message to society and the world.
