Including Ministers, MPs, Hundreds of Settlers Storm Al Aqsa Courtyards

Over 800 Israeli settlers, including cabinet ministers and members of parliament (MPs), stormed Al Aqsa Mosque courtyards in successive groups.

According to Palestine’s (WAFA) news agency, extremist Rabbi and former Knesset member Yehuda Glick lead one of the groups which included the Israeli minister of Negev and the Galilee Yitzhak Wasserlauf and the wife of minister of national security Itamar Ben-Gvir; “Ayala Nimrodi”.

The Endowments department said that hundreds of settlers have stormed Al Aqsa, carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals.

In the early morning hours, the Israeli occupation forces announced the closure of the Al-Qibli prayer hall in Al Aqsa Mosque, after emptying it of the and worshipers, and deployed its forces in its courtyards, to secure the settlers’ incursions into it, ahead of the so-called “flag march”.
