Head of State of Samoa receives credential papers of UAE Non-Ambassador

APIA, 26th October, 2016 (WAM)–His Highness the Head of State of Samoa, Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi, received on Tuesday at the presidential palace, the credential papers of Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, the UAE Ambassador to Australia, as a Non-Ambassador to Samoa.

The UAE envoy conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the Head of State of Samoa, and their best wishes of prosperity to the people of Samoa.

The Head of State of Samoa asked Ambassador Al Ketbi to convey his regards to the UAE President, Vice President and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. He praised the support of the UAE to his country.

He wished success to the UAE ambassador to strengthen the existing ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Al Ketbi stressed the preparedness of the UAE to build constructive and strategic partnership between the two countries and provide more assistance to Samoa to help it achieve the sustainable development.
