ABU DHABI, 10th January, 2016 (WAM) – H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, today received Sir Mark Lyall Grant, the National Security Advisor of the UK, to discuss prospects of the significantly fast growing UAE-UK bilateral ties and ways of furthering the existing joint cooperation.
Sheikh Hazza and Sir Grant also took stock of the latest developments of mutual concern in regional and international arenas.
Sheikha Hazza highlighted the distinguished bilateral ties and stressed the importance of developing these further in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries and their people.
For his part. the visiting British official said he was delighted at conferring with Sheikh Hazza and praised the progress in the longstanding friendly bilateral ties.
Saif Sultan Al Ariani, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security, and Philip Parham, the UK Ambassador to the UAE, attended the meeting.
