Hamdan bin Zayed calls for boosting RCA local programmes

Abu Dhabi: H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has called for enhancement of the RCA efforts locally to meet increasing humanitarian needs in the country.

He ordered the RCA Board to activate the plans and strategies to further boost the role of RCA locally to meet the needs of targeted categories nationwide.

Chairing the third Board meeting at Al Nakheel Palace, Sheikh Hamdan stressed the importance of adopting initiatives and creative ideas to woo philanthropists, corporations and companies to support the RCA local programmes. He added that the charity bodies nationwide should come together for better humanitarian work.

He lauded the role of philanthropists in the RCA’s charity programmes.
