Fujairah Ruler briefed on plans and programmes of Climate Change Ministry

FUJAIRAH, 16th March, 2017 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has been briefed on the future plans, programmes and strategy of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, in the UAE in general and the Emirate of Fujairah in particular.

This came when H.H. Sheikh Hamad received Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, when he was briefed on the ministry’s policy and strategy and the projects to be implemented by the ministry in the near future.

Sheikh Hamad stressed that the UAE’s wise leadership pays great attention to harnessing all physical and moral potential to ensure a decent life for citizens and raise the level of services provided to them.

The Fujairah Ruler commended the Ministry of Climate Change’s efforts in the field of environmental protection which, he said, maintains a sustainable environment free from pollution.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
