Sharjah Crown Prince chairs SEC meeting

SHARJAH, 31st January, 2017 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, today presided over a meeting held by the Sharjah Executive Council, SEC.

The meeting discussed a number of topics related to Sharjah government’s plans and future projects, and also focussed on the efforts to provide decent living standards to the citizens and the residents.

The council members reviewed a report submitted by the Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority, EPAA, on installing air quality monitoring stations in different areas of the emirate.

They also discussed a memorandum submitted by the Sharjah Department of Economic Development on the planned development of the business environment and the excellent services offered to investors and business owners.

The council issued a resolution on the establishment of the committee tasked with developing a strategic plan for road network in the emirate of Sharjah.

It also discussed other topics on the agenda.
