Dubai Real Estate Institute teams up with Harvard University to provide course on smart cities

DUBAI, 30th October, 2016 (WAM) — Dubai Real Estate Institute, DREI, the educational arm of Dubai Land Department, DLD, has announced the launch of an executive course focusing on ‘Building Better Cities in the Digital Age’, in partnership with Harvard University.

The course will be held at DREI over two full days, on the 16th and 17th of November, with and emphasis on how technology can be used to build modern and sustainable communities, outlining the impact that Information and Communications Technology and the Internet is having on building, regenerating, and sustaining communities all around the globe.

Mahmoud El-Burai, Executive Director of DREI, said, “The course will help them to employ the finest technologies, in addition to proposing proactive solutions, in line with the Dubai Real Estate Institute goal for the deployment of sustainability and real estate knowledge.”
