Arab Interior Ministers' Council slams terrorist blasts in Saudi Arabia

TUNIS, 5th July, 2016 (WAM)–The Arab Interior Ministers’ Council has strongly condemned the terrorist bombings in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, Qatif and the area around the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.

The General Secretariat of the Council said in a statement that the explosion near the Prophet Mosque “again reveals the false rhetoric of terrorists, and exposes their real face of terrorism as they disdain religious sanctities and disregard lives of innocent people.”

It added that the blast in vicinity of the purest part of the earth, a mosque of the Messenger of Allah, “shows deliberate intention to intimidate worshipers and visitors to Haram al-Sharif.”

The Arab Interior Ministers’ Council praised the performance of the Saudi security forces and their success in thwarting these barbaric acts through sacrificing their pure souls for the sake of the citizens and visitors as well.
