SHARJAH, 26th January, 2016 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, today chaired the meeting of the Executive Council.
During the meeting, which was held at the Ruler’s office, the council ratified the minutes of the previous session before it reviewed a number of topics related to the development of government business and service projects being implemented by the emirate in different regions.
The council, within the framework of the implementation of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah’s initiative to establish poetry houses in Arab countries, approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Sharjah Department of Culture and Information and Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Morocco on the establishment of Poetry House in Morocco’s Tetouan.
The council was also briefed on the report of the Sharjah International Airport Authority on the management of parking lots surrounding the Sharjah International Airport. In this regard, Ali bin Salim Al Midfa, the Authority’s Chairman, said that the Sharjah International Airport Authority is seeking to provide better services to passengers and to facilitate their procedures.
