Dr. El-Arabi highlights importance of strengthening India-Arab Relations in various fields

MANAMA, 25th January, 2016 (WAM) — The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil el-Arabi, has stressed the importance of relations between Arab countries and India, which he described as a historical one.

The Bahraini News Agency, BNA, in a statement issued yesterday, reported that Dr. el-Arabi, speaking on the sidelines of the First Ministerial Meeting of the India-Arab League Cooperation Forum hosted by Manama, said that India supports Arab countries in many issues, including the Palestinian issue, as well as issues of mutual interest to the region.

On the convening of the First Ministerial Meeting of the India-Arab League Cooperation Forum, the Secretary-General said that the meeting aims to discuss cooperation in areas of significant progress, such as technology, agriculture and science in India.
