Foreign Ministry follows up on car accident which claimed lives of seven Emiratis in Oman, says senior official

ABU DHABI: The Foreign Ministry followed up on the horrible car accident in Mughaisil area in Salalah, Oman, which claimed the lives of seven members of an Emirati family, the father and six children, and caused serious injuries to the mother, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry Juma Al-Jenaibi said.

The Ministry, in coordination with the Embassy of the UAE in Oman and Ambassador Abdul Redha Khouri, is following legal procedures related to the accident and the death of the family members, the official stressed.

The Ministry, he added, reiterates its keen interest in taking care of Emirati nationals abroad.

He urged Emiratis to be cautious and aware during travel.

He prayed to The Almighty to bestow mercy on the souls of the victims of the accident and patience on their family.
