Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah chambers exchange expertise

Dubai: As part of its efforts to exchange expertise and to enhance mutual relationships with other chambers of commerce in the country, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a delegation from Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce headed by Naser Ahmad Salmeen, Director General, at its head office in Dubai recently.

During the delegation’s visit to Dubai Chamber, Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber, said that the idea behind the visit was to get an insight into the implementation of best practices by Dubai Chamber, which enjoys a global reputation of institutional excellence and offering quality services. “This visit also helps us to exchange expertise and develop our mutual relationship in the long run,” he said.

Salmeen also talked about Dubai Chamber’s efforts in developing fruitful relationships with its strategic partners through a strategic plan designed to promote and support the vision of Dubai Government in serving customers while raising their level of satisfaction by offering a one-stop shop services to all its stakeholders.

Atiq Juma Nasib, Senior Director, Commercial Services Sector, Dubai Chamber, who received the official delegation, informed them about the Chamber’s services and initiatives that help raise the competitiveness of Dubai businesses in the global market.

The Commercial Services Sector’s Senior Director highlighted Dubai Chamber’s commitment to exchange expertise and strengthen cooperation with other UAE-based chambers for the enhancement of trade in the country, the region and beyond.

Also, the Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce was briefed on the e-payment system practised by Dubai Chamber as he showed his willingness to implement the same in his Chamber. He was also given an insight into the managing of Business Groups by Dubai Chamber, which could benefit the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber.

At the conclusion of the visit, Salmeen appreciated the warm reception extended to him by Dubai Chamber and expressed his hope for continuous cooperation and exchange of expertise in various fields by both the sides.
