Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques receives Malaysian Muftis

KUALA LUMPUR, — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, today received Muftis of Malaysian states and a number of Malaysian senior Islamic personalities.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, during the meeting which took place at the Saudi King’s residence in Kuala Lumpur, King Salman talked about campaigns against Islam trying to undermine its moderation and tolerance, stressing the importance of introducing the approach of Islam calling for tolerance, moderation and combating extremism and terrorism in all its forms.

The King noted that the challenges facing the Muslim world require more cooperation and solidarity among Islamic countries and peoples.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques emphasised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to provide everything it can do to serve Islam and communicate with Muslims all over the world.
