Abdullah bin Zayed heads UAE's delegation to joint ministerial meeting of Arab-South American foreign ministers, meets Brazilian counterpart

RIYADH, 9th November, 2015 (WAM) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Foreign Minister, chaired the UAE’s delegation to the joint ministerial meeting of the Arab-South American foreign ministers, which was hosted by the Saudi capital Riyadh today.

The meeting was held to hammer out the agenda of the 4th Arab-South American Countries Summit which Riyadh will host on 10th and 11th, November. Twenty two Arab countries and 12 South American countries will participate in the two-day meeting.

Sheikh Abdullah met Mauro Vieira, Minister of External Relations of Brazil, on the sidelines of the meeting, to discuss ways of enhancing friendly bilateral ties. They also exchanged views on topics on the summit’s agenda and expressed the hope the meeting would come out with the expected objectives.

Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, and Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman, Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, attended the meeting.
