WAM RAS AL KHAIMAH: A total of 10000 trees have been planted around RAK Ceramics facilities in Ras Al Khaimah since 2010 to mark Earth Day, celebrated worldwide on 22 April.

The effort reflects the company’s commitment to environment-related corporate social responsibility as trees help clean the air, produces oxygen, reduce Co2 emissions and help clean the soil and provide natural habitat to a large number of species, according to the CEO of RAK Ceramics, Abdullah Mas’ad.

He noted that the tree-planting initiative helps educate employees and raise their environmental awareness.
