ABU DHABI — The services and empowerment plans provided by the Abu Dhabi National Rehabilitation Centre for addicts have been hailed by a delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain who were on a visit to the NRC recently.
The visit aimed to keeping abreast of the approaches adopted by the NRC to rehabilitate addicts and safeguard young segments of society against hazards of addiction to drugs and other similar ailments.
The Bahraini delegates met with Dr. Hamad Al Gaferi, Director General of the NRC, who affirmed during the meeting that the support lent by the wise leadership of the country to the NRC’s activities has advanced the position occupied by the centre as one of the leading rehabilitation entities in the region.
The delegates were shown around the new NRC premises in Shakhbout City which has an occupancy capacity of around 169 beds in addition to advanced clinical services spanning over an area of around 100,000 square metres.
